Where is your shop located?

The shop is located in the heart of Great Bridge in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are in the same plaza as Chanellos Pizza and Farmers Insurance, directly across the street from Mr. Jims and Courthouse Café.
Why are you only open on the weekend?

The shop is only 538sq.ft, so our baking space is limited. We prep for our weekend hours throughout the week, and use our weekdays to work on all of our custom orders. Maybe one day we’ll be able to expand!
Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! This gift card can be used for online purchases only. Once purchased, the recipient will receive an email with gift card details.
If you would like to purchase a gift card for in-store purchases, you can visit this link or stop by the shop to purchase a physical card.
Do you have gluten-free items?

While we strive to provide gluten-free options, we cannot guarantee the absence of gluten due to the potential for cross-contamination in our kitchen. Customers with gluten allergies or sensitivities should exercise caution and inform our staff of their dietary needs. We are not responsible for any adverse reactions to food consumed. We offer gluten-free French Macarons, Millionaire Bars (gf shortbread crust with caramel and chocolate ganache), Coconut Macaroons, and Blueberry/Raspberry Almond Bars.
How much lead time do you require for a custom order?

We do have some items on our website that are available with one week’s notice. Our custom cakes require a minimum of two weeks’ notice, but our books fill up quickly. So the more time you have to place your order in advance, the better.
Do you offer cupcakes?

Unfortunately, we do not. Cupcakes are just not our jam, and we prefer using our limited space to create other tasty treats!
Do you offer beverages like coffee or tea?

We have a small beverage fridge with a rotating selection of imported British beverages that includes Fentimans Rose Lemonade, Pink Ginger, Victorian Lemonade, and Elderflower Soda. The shop is too small to provide made-to-order hot drinks, but our neighbors on Battlefield Blvd., Taxus Street Coffee Roasters and RoJo Coffee Co., have fantastic coffee.
Can I place an order and pick it up during the week?

Yes - all custom cakes and online orders may be picked up during the week, even though the shop is closed. We will work with your required pickup window once you place your order.
Why the British theme?

I (Heather, the owner) have always loved England and keeping up with the British royal family. Fun fact: I send them Christmas cards yearly, and they respond with a lovely picture card! My mom and I also love to travel to the UK as often as possible. I attempted to move abroad, but it was challenging to obtain a working visa…so the next best option was to open my own bakery, showcasing my love of all things British and sharing that love with the locals of Hampton Roads.
